Ragging is strictly prohibited by law since most of the colleges take strict action against ragging,So yes there are no ragging in MITS College even if to some extent the college authorities takes strict action against it.Some colleges also form anti ragging commitee to prevent ragging and other such forms.

see mits madanapally is around 14 years older than gitam university bangalore. mits established at 1998, however the placement record is same for both of the institute, the average package offered by gitam and mits is 3.5 lpa. both of the institute has excellent infrastructure and fair amount of students and faculty ratio. one of the major benefits to study in gitam is , its situated in bangalore which is the IT hib of India. and you would get ample opportunity for internship while staying at bangalore.

see transfer to one college to other is possible when two colleges comes under same university, however you should first consult with gitam university authority, if they allow admission in second year. IF THEY confirmed that admission is possible then only proceed for change of previous college.

see generally migration to another college is possible when two colleges are under same university. however mits is autonomous institute where gitam university is separate university situated in bangalore. however some of the institute like srm institute of engineering and technology allows second year admission. however you have to contact with gitam university admission cell to know more details. so first consult with college authority then take further decision.

MIT Madanapalle offers good infrastructure facilities to students with highly qualified faculties. Also, the college has good placement record specially for the students of ECE, CSE, MBA etc. It will be worth to complete the studies here.

Now, as you mentioned about the first few days of the college, yeah it happens. You have changes your place, it will take you some time to adjust into a new place, understand the teaching methods of different teachers , to make new friends and to find your own comfort zone.
