Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, formerly known as Madhav Engineering College and commonly referred to as MITS Gwalior, is a government-aided autonomous institute.

It is a decent college and your branch is good.

Placements in CS Branch are in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenure, Persistent, Amdocs etc.

Quality of teaching is too poor and you have to attend atleast 75% of such classes.

Here is nothing good about MITS other than lower fee and THE "Reputation", that exist in Gwalior only.

Although placement are good for CS and IT.

Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, also known as MITS, is an Indian engineering college.

It is affiliated to JNTUA and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Aspirants get admission in MITS on the basis on JEE mains rank. And for computer science and engineering (CSE) the student must fulfill the required rank in the exam of JEE mains. So, the final cutoff to get admission in MITS is ranged from 27848 to 66183 in round 1.

Aspirant with rank less than 27848 can't be admitted in MITS.

For the second round the aspirant must be with rank 27848 to 60564.

One can also get admission in MITS, if he/she has scored rank in PET( pre engineering test)

In 2019 the cut off for Computer Science Engineering for general category to get admission in MADANAPALLY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE, MADANAPALLY was 18746  and for Computer Science and Technology was 55115 considering this you have decent chances of getting seat in CST but you may not get seat in CSE.

I think I'm the right one to answer this query, I'm currently studying third year in ECE at Madanapalle Institute of technology.

Based on the rank you scored and taking your category into consideration, the chances of getting cse at mits are good.

In 2018 I got a rank around 21k and unfortunately I didn't get cse but got ece. During second and third rounds some of my friends got cse who are having rank 30-45k. So you can surely get cse.

In the official website of MITS college there is no specification regarding fee reimbursement or scholarship.

So my opinion will be if you know someone who is a passed out student or a studying in MITS college , do ask him because in some colleges there are some special provisions which aren't disclosed in public media. So its better if you contact some one or you can just sent a mail to the official email id of MITS college and get it discussed or you can directly call the college authority in the number provided at right side down of the website.
