I get 514 Marks in Neet 2020 and i am from Madhya Pradesh and from General Categery Is there any chance for me to getting Government MBBS seat in Madhya Pradesh.

pdwords Student Expert 16th Oct, 2020
Hello,

As per previous year data under state quota 530 marks secured a seat in GMC Shivpuri belonging to General Category, so it's but tough with your given marks, you hold chances in private colleges like Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences, Index Medical College, LN Medical College to name a few, This is entirely based on previous year data, cut-offs vary every year based on multiple factors like seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.
You can use our NEET College Predictor to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges;https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

I got 620 marks and the AIR 11607 General category. I belong to Madhya Pradesh which college I will get to??

S. Saha Student Expert 16th Oct, 2020
Going by your score and last year's cutoffs, you can expect almost all the medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh those are Gandhi Medical college, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College, GR Medical college, MGM medical college, SS Medical college, Bundelkhand Medical College. As the highest score is huge so there are chances that the cutoffs will also be changed. Keep in mind that these are based on previous year data and this year it might change. So I would suggest you to use Neet college Predictor tool to know where you have good chances of getting admission http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello,

Sure, there are many colleges but before that you have to make sure that you have selected a course of your liking because you will have to continue with that in the future and different courses have different fee structure .So,I would suggest you to first make a list of courses you like and then search for colleges accordingly  because there are endless number of colleges as well as courses.

My CRL rank in jee 2020 is 179280 general category home state Madhya Pradesh , can I go for jossa councelling in any stream , kindly suggest .

Nikhil 14th Oct, 2020

As per the previous opening and closing rank for getting seat in nits or iits, your rank is not qualified to secure seat in nits. But there is chances to get iiits. Also choose your branch wisely because in iiits also trending branches like CS, mechanical, electrical is little tougher to get in your rank.

I prefer you to check your exact college list in which you can secure seat by using our college predictor tool,

can you tell me how to fill JOSAA choices of college as I have got 95.12 percentile in jee mains 2020 gen catagory from madhya pradesh .

tinni.chats 10th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant, hope you are doing good.

Firstly, congratulations for getting such a great percentile in JEE Mains, it's not an easy thing, you must have done your absolute best. Now, with your rank, you are most likely to get a number of great colleges, ranked top in the country.

But obviously, your choices are limited for JOSAA counselling, so you have to keep in mind to to write the choices of college that you really really want to get in. While we are at that, you have to also make sure that your cutoff should match with that college's cutoff, because unnecessary and impractical choices are just going to be a waste of options, because your rank is nowhere near the cutoff, so be a bit practical and rational. Also, keep in mind not to add any college that you don't want, because in case any college from your list is suggested to you, you either have to get enrolled there, or withdraw yourself from further rounds of counselling.

In case you want to know about all the colleges you can get into, with your JEE Mains rank, beforehand, you can check it here:

You should have mentioned your rank too. However your rank is approximately 48000 - 60000. With this rank it is quite difficult for you to get into NIT, IIIT or GFTI. You should opt for private engineering colleges. Following are some of the best private engineering colleges in India.

  1. BITS Pilani
  2. VIT Vellore
  3. SRM University
  4. KIIT
  5. Thapar University
  6. Manipal Institute of Technology
  7. Lovely Professional University
  8. Chandigarh University
  9. RV College of Engineering
  10. BITS Mesra
  11. DA - IICT
  12. KJ Somaiya College of Engineering
