Maharashtra Board
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that NIT Nagpur has home state quota for the students belonging to Maharashtra. There is no Maharashtra Board quota in NIT. For more information, I am sharing a link with you which consists of information regarding admission in NIT Nagpur.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Dear Aspirant,
To take admission through home state quota you must have a domicile certificate of that state. A domicile certificate enables its holder to prove that he/she is a resident of the state either by birth or by having lived in that particular state for more than 15 years. The document enables the holder to avail of the domicile/resident quota extended by the state in education and jobs.
Even though you have passed your 10th from Maharashtra but if you have a domicile of karnataka you will be able to get admission in Karnataka through state quota.
Hope you got your answer.
Thank you
Hey, hope you are doing well!
It would have been better if you mentioned your stream. Anyway I made a list of publishers who publish books of your concern in all subjects. So here is a list of book publishers that have previous year question papers for class 12 HSC Maharashtra-
1. Target Publications Pvt. Ltd.
2. Gurukul Books
3. Oswal Publications
So, these were the top three publishers for your required books. You can get the books from Amazon. If you need more help regarding this please mention your stream.
I hope my response was helpful for you. All the best!
Hi,
In Maharashtra board improvement exam you can give exam for all subject.
If you fail in one or more subject you can give compartment exam. If you want you can give exam for only that subject in which you failed .
If you want to give exam for all subject than through improvement exam you can give that also.
You can fill the application form for exam through your college. So should contact your college for application form whenever they will be available.
Hope it helps.
hey, You can apply for all subjects if you want, you will be required to pay the fee per subject. There is no such rules and regulations set by the Maharashtra Board about the number of improvement examinations a student can apply for. So do as you want.
All the Best!!
yes you can give the re- exam. Those students who have failed in one or more subjects in Class 12th H.Sc exam of maharashtra board can appear for re - exam.
The application form for re-exam will be available on the maharashtra state board website or you can fill it through your college. So keep checking official website of maharashtra state board.
Sakshi, yes you can repeat your 12th from any other Board. If appearing for NEET is your aim, you need to take Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as your core subjects. But if you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathermatics, if you have studied Biology as an additional subject in your 12th along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, then you needn't repeat your 11th and 12th again. You will be eligible for NEET because Biology as an additional subject is allowed for NEET. But if you did not have Biology as an additional subject, you may have to repeat your 11th and 12th. And as of now because there is no upper age limit for NEET, you can appear for NEET after you repeat your 12th. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.
