Hii i have given Maharashtra Board H.sc class improvement exam(sep-oct)2021, i was pass in first attempt(March2020) but for increasing percentage i have given class improvement .does can i apply for MNS exam?

Varun 15th Dec, 2021

Hello, Dish your eligibility depends on your score on your current HSC certificate. The requirements for MNS exam are as follows:

  1. Gender must be female
  2. Must not be married
  3. Age must be between 16.5 years to 24 years
  4. Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks

Firstly make sure you have the appropriate subjects as per the guidelines. If your current marks are less than 50% aggregate then you are unfortunately not eligible, you will have to wait for the results of improvement exam and hope to get 50%+ in that.

If your current marks are 50%+ aggregate then you're good to go and you can apply. All the best!

what is the state of eligibility proof required? can we use domicile for it/ 12th marksheet. i also heard that the address of colege is required on the 12th marksheet, but maharashtra board hsc exam marksheet has only college code, no address or other details of college only city divisional board

Sakshi Bhagdikar 3rd Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant !!

Hope you are in the best of your health and cheers.

I believe you are asking about the state of eligibility proof with respect to JoSAA counselling.

State of eligibility proof determines your Home State during admission to NITs.

NITs consider the state of eligibility to be the state from where you appeared for your 12th examination and passed it before seeking admission. Each NIT has half of its total seats reserved for the students from the state where it is located (Home State quota) and the other half for the students of other states (Other State quota).

Domicile cannot be used as state of eligibility proof in JoSAA.

Now, coming to the second part of your question, it is not a problem as the marksheet is issued by Maharashtra Board, which automatically suggests that you appeared for and passed your HSC from Maharashtra.

Hope this helps.

All the best !!

Can i eligible for INSPIRE Scholorship after completing 12th with 89.83% from Maharashtra board

Shubham Dhane 22nd Oct, 2021

Hello,

To be eligible for Inspire Scholarship the candidate should be in the top 1% meritorious students of 12th class of any state or central education board or the student who have secured JEE or NEET rank within 10000 ranks can apply for the Inspire scholarship 2021. If you fulfil one of the above criteria you will be eligible for Inspire Scholarship. Top 1% meritorious students of 12th class of any state are eligible so students form Maharashtra are also eligible but with 89.83% it is difficult to be in the 1% meritorious students of 12th.
