If you are talking about JEE Mains then yes you can get lower NIT's or like colleges in Ghaziabad (U.P) or followed in some other states.

You need to score a minimum aggregate marks of 50% in Physics,Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Vocational for general category and for sc/st it is 45%.
