All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates - 

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination

You can appear in MHT CET to take admission in private engineering colleges of Maharashtra but it is recommended to take admission through JEE Main as they are preffered over MHT CET.

To take admission in government engineering colleges of Maharashtra you need a domicile certificate. 

To appear in KCET

Yes, you can appear for MHT CET exam but you will be eligible only for private engineering colleges of Maharashtra.

MHT CET exam centres are only in Maharashtra.

If you belong to Maharashtra, you will be given the exam centre in the district from where you have passed your class XII exam. This is applicable even if you are appearing in class XII.
