I got 24.95 percentile in pcm mht cet what is my rank

preeti kataria 3rd Jul, 2025

If you scored 24.95 percentage in MHT CET for the pcm group  your approximate rank would be around 2,25,000. This is calculated based on the assumption that about 3 lakh students appeared for the exam. The formula used is (100 - percentile) × total candidates ÷ 100 since your percentile is low the rank falls in the lower range which may make it difficult to get admission into top engineering colleges However you can still explore colleges with lower cutoff requirement or consider management quota seat

I got 24. 95 percentile in pcm mht cet what is my rank

Afreen 27th Jul, 2025

If you scored 24.95 percentile in MHT CET for the PCM group, your approximate rank would be around 2,25,000.

Exploring colleges with lower cutoff requirements or management quota seats are potential alternatives. For a more precise rank prediction, it is advised to use official MHT CET resources or Mht cet percentile/rank predictor tools that account for factors like exam shift difficulty and the number of students in that shift.

I have 55 percentile in mht cet in sebc category. I want to take btech in ai or data science can you tell any college in pune or pcmc

Previa Gayu 23rd Jun, 2025

If you have scored 55 percentile in MHT CET under SEBC category and you want to take BTech in AI or Data Science then you have reasonable chances in good private or state government colleges The average cutoff percentile for top colleges like COEP or VJTI for branches such as Computer Engineering and Data Science usually falls above 98 percentile which is very high but for mid tier private colleges the closing percentile ranges between 80 and 90 For SEBC category students who score around 55 percentile you may find seats in tier three or tier four colleges in Maharashtra that offer AI Data Science or related streams These colleges often have lower cutoff requirements and focus on newer technology courses Since there are many seats available across multiple rounds and there are four CAP counselling rounds you can get admission if you fill your options carefully based on your percentile rank Be ready to consider college location backup branches and multiple rounds to secure your seat and complete your admission on time

I have 55 percentile in mht cet and I want to take admission in btech in pune or pcmc and I have sebc category

Nikita shahi 3rd Aug, 2025

Hii,

With a 55 percentile in MHT CET and SEBC  reservation, you do have chances to get admission in private engineering colleges around Pune or PCMC area, especially in the lower fee or less competitive branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Production. For core branches like Computer or Electronics, it might be a bit tight in top colleges, but you should definitely participate in all CAP rounds. Your category reservation can help reduce the cut-off significantly.

Hope you will find it helpful!

Can I get CSE or AI DS in colleges like Dy patil Pimpri or jspm tathawade? my score is 85 in mht cet 2025 and my category is obc

Prachi Kumari 18th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Based on previous years' cutoffs for OBC category:

Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri

  • For Computer Engineering or IT, the cutoff is usually around 91 to 94 percentile.

  • For Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, the cutoff is also around 90 to 92 percentile.

  • Your score is 85 percentile, so it is lower than the usual cutoffs. It will be difficult to get CSE or AI DS in this college.

JSPM RSCOE, Tathawade

  • For Computer Engineering, the cutoff is around 78 to 80 percentile.

  • Your score is 85 percentile, so you have a good chance of getting CSE in this college.

  • For AI DS, the cutoff is usually higher, around 90 or more, so it might be difficult to get this branch.

Hope it helps !

I got 57 percentile in MHT cet. For which which colleges am eligible in BTech course.

Avanishsree VP 18th Jun, 2025

With 57% in MHT-CET, you are eligible for Tier-3 private engineering colleges in Maharashtra.

You can apply for B.Tech in colleges like:

  • RAIT, Terna, FCRIT, LTCE, VIT Pune, KJS Somaiya (some non-core branches).
You’re not eligible for top colleges like COEP or VJTI, but you meet the minimum eligibility (45% in PCM).
Apply through CAP rounds and consider Management Quota if needed.

With 86.34 percentile in mhtcet and 72 percentile in jee mains is there any possibility for any branch in bharti vidyapeerh

Anushree Thakare 5th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

With an 86.34 percentile in MHT CET and a 72 percentile in JEE Mains, it's unlikely you'll get a highly competitive branch like Computer Science or Information Technology at Bharati Vidyapeeth, especially through the All India quota.

However, you might have a chance for other branches like Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil, particularly if you are from Maharashtra and apply through MHT CET, as it holds more weight for state colleges.

You should read these articles to get more information about the college and cutoff for each course:

Ive got 50.7 percentile in pcm grp mhtcet exam...plz suggest some cllgs in mumbai and pune

Swati 23rd Jun, 2025

Hi Aspirant

With a percentile of fifty point seven in the PCM group of MHTCET it means you have a moderate score This percentile can give you access to a range of engineering colleges in Mumbai and Pune especially those with state quota and certain branches that have higher seat availability

In Mumbai you can consider looking at engineering colleges that accept students with moderate scores These institutions may have courses in branches like Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Electrical Engineering These branches often have relatively higher intake and slightly lower cutoff compared to Computer Science or Information Technology Some of the colleges you can consider are Thakur College of Engineering and Technology Universal College of Engineering Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Vidyalankar Institute of Technology and K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology These institutes have a reputation for providing a solid foundation in engineering and have placement opportunities for students across disciplines

In Pune similarly you can focus on engineering institutes that accept students with moderate percentiles and have strong industry connections You can consider Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Sinhgad College of Engineering JSPM Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering MIT Academy of Engineering and D Y Patil College of Engineering These colleges have well established departments and are located in a city with a strong IT and manufacturing sector making it ideal for students pursuing engineering courses across different disciplines

While choosing a college it is crucial to focus on the branch that interests you and also review the placement statistics for that stream Certain branches like Computer Science and Information Technology tend to have higher cutoffs across colleges so it may be challenging to secure admission in those branches with fifty point seven percentile However branches like Mechanical Electrical Electronics Civil and Chemical Engineering may have more available seats and lower cutoffs making them viable options

To proceed you must register for the Centralized Admission Process conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell This process will give you access to available seats across engineering institutes in Mumbai and Pune based on your percentile category and home university status Stay alert for the publication of the final merit lists and participate actively in the counseling rounds Do not forget to fill your preferred college and branch choices wisely focusing on both your interests and admission probability

Summary
With fifty point seven percentile in PCM group of MHTCET you can consider engineering colleges in Mumbai like Thakur College Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology and K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and in Pune like Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Sinhgad College and JSPM Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering These colleges have openings in branches like Mechanical Electrical Electronics Civil and Chemical Engineering where cutoff marks are relatively lower Stay active in the counseling process and review placement records to select a college that best suits your aspirations and interests

me obc category me ata hu muze mht cet me 45 percentile hai aur mere ghar me jamin hai meze total fees kitni deni padegi?

Afreen 26th Jul, 2025

students with an annual family income between INR 1 lakh and INR 8 lakh might be eligible for a freeship, covering 100% of tuition and exam fees. While your landholding might affect your family's income and thus your scholarship eligibility, the direct impact information is provided by university where you take admission.

It is recommended to check specific scheme guidelines or connect with a college for more detailed information regarding your particular situation. Having a 45 percentile in MHT CET is considered a low score and may affect your college choices, but various scholarship programs aim to reduce the financial burden of higher education for eligible OBC students.
