All the best!
Hello,
For MHT CET scores in the 60-70 mark range, securing a seat in top-tier colleges might be challenging, but several good options are available, particularly in Pune and other cities. Colleges like Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE), Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE), MIT Academy of Engineering, and Sinhgad Institutes, Pune are worth exploring. Additionally, consider Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) and Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri, Pune .
Thank you!!
With 77% in the MHT-CET (PCB group), you have a decent chance of getting admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture colleges in Maharashtra, especially under the state quota. While exact allotment depends on cut-offs that vary by year, category, and region, you can expect colleges like College of Agriculture, Baramati , College of Agriculture, Latur , College of Agriculture, Dhule , or College of Agriculture, Karad under the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) or other state agricultural universities. Keep an eye on the MCAER UG CAP rounds , check category-wise cut-offs, and prioritize your choices accordingly during the counselling process.
Hi dear candidate,
With the score of 72% in MHT CET your rank should fall between 30,000 to 40,000. Considering this, it is slightly tough for you to get admission in top tier government colleges like COEP Pune etc. You should try in autonomous colleges more like JNEC Aurangabad etc.

ALL THE BEST !
Hi Sumit,
There are multiple engineering colleges in Pune with good placements but the top most college would be COEP which offers very good packages and placements to it's students. The total fees payable for 1st year is around INR 142,240 as per their official fee structure which also includes one time security deposit. You can have detailed look at it by visiting their link: Revised_UG-Fees-Structure-AY_-2024-25.pdf (https://www.coeptech.ac.in/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Revised_UG-Fees-Structure-AY_-2024-25.pdf)

Hii,
Congratulations on that excellent score,at 99.78 percentile, as an Other State candidate, you’re eligible for both All India seats in top colleges and Maharashtra state quota where allowed. You can aim for COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, PICT Pune, all of which had past CSE cutoffs around 99 in Home State quota and slightly lower for all India quota. You're also well-placed for branches like IT or E&TC if CSE gets filled quickly. Make sure to register in both state and institute-level rounds, and have documents like passport, Class 12 marksheet ready.

Thank you
Hi dear,
Thanks for reaching out!
With 55.49% in MHT CET you may get CSE in these colleges of Mumbai:
Viva Institute of Technology, Virar
Saraswati College of Engineering,Navi Mumbai
New Horizon Institute of Technology,Thane
Aldel St.John College of Engineering,Palghar.
These colleges usually accept candidates with moderate cut-offs.
Consider other branches such as electronics,IT if CSE is not available.
With a 49% in your 12th boards and a 68 percentile in MHT CET 2025, along with your OBC category, you stand a reasonable chance of gaining admission to certain private engineering colleges in Pune for programs such as CSE, IT, AI, ML, or Data Science.
Although elite institutions like COEP Tech, VIT Pune, or PCCOE might be somewhat beyond reach because of their elevated cutoff trends, you can confidently aim for colleges such as Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE), Imperial College of Engineering, Sinhgad Institutes (like SKNCOE or SCOE), RMD Sinhgad, and MIT ADT (not MIT-WPU) for fields like IT, AI, or DS. Remember that CSE usually has the highest cutoffs, so pursuing AI, DS, or IT might provide better opportunities based on your percentile.
Moreover, belonging to the OBC category provides an advantage during CAP rounds since you will receive some leniency in cutoffs. Ensure you take part in every round of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), list a diverse set of preferences, and look at colleges with improving placement statistics. Keep informed via the official MHT CET counselling portal and frequently look for vacant seats at the institute level after CAP rounds for more choices.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hey there, here is a prediction of the cutoff marks of Maharashtra cet and college wise ranks https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-2025-percentile-vs-college-check-ranks-colleges-in-maharashtra
Hi Mahi, With 28 percentile in MHT CET, admission in top government colleges in Pune is difficult, but you can try for private colleges with lower cutoffs. Here are some options:
Dhole Patil College of Engineering
Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering
Zeal College of Engineering & Research
Imperial College of Engineering
DY Patil Institute (institute-level or vacant seats)
Apply through CAP rounds and also try for institute-level quota . Keep checking for spot rounds and vacant seats for better chances.
