12th board marks and MHTCET marks

Sajal Trivedi 23rd Feb, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Candidates must receive at least 45% on their 10+2 or equivalent test from an accredited board or university in order to meet the minimum MHT CET qualifying requirements for 2025.
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell has released the MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025. The exam will be administered online as a computer-based test in accordance with the MHT CET Paper Pattern. The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on the MHT CET exam will have four possible answers, with only one right answer. The MHT CET 2025 exam will have questions that are comparable to those in JEE Main, however there won't be any negative marking.

Sir what is cutoff for jee mains to get admission in MPKV rahuri for Btech in agriculture ? Is the cutoff percentile same for jee mains and MHTCET ?

kumardurgesh1802 16th Feb, 2025

Hello Kunal,

Admission to the B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering program at Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri, is primarily based on scores from entrance exams like MHT CET and JEE Main. The specific cutoff percentiles for these exams can vary annually based on factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability.

While exact cutoff data for recent years isn't readily available, it's important to note that the cutoff percentiles for MHT CET and JEE Main are not necessarily the same, as they depend on the respective applicant pools and exam standards.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding cutoff scores and admission criteria, it's advisable to consult the official MPKV Rahuri admissions page or contact their admissions office directly.

Hello Sahil,

No, your MHT CET admission will not be canceled for submitting the PCM form twice. However, multiple applications can create issues.

What to do now?

  1. Check your email/SMS from CET Cell for any duplicate application notice.
  2. Contact MHT CET Helpdesk immediately via official website or helpline.

i have passed 12th with pcb & now i have added math with nios. so now i have 2 marksheets , am I eligible for mht cet for btech? And will I be able to get admission in engineering colleges of maharashtra?

Afreen 10th Feb, 2025

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the MHT CET for BTech even if you passed 12th with PCB and later added Maths through NIOS, meaning you can present both marksheets; most engineering colleges in Maharashtra will accept your NIOS Maths result and consider you eligible for admission.

NIOS is recognized:

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a recognized board, so your additional Maths marksheet will be accepted.

Check specific requirements:

While most colleges will accept your NIOS Maths, it's always best to check the specific eligibility criteria on the college website or MHT CET official notification.

MHT CET Eligibility:

To be eligible for MHT CET, you need to have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (which you have now acquired through NIOS).

is MBBS possible with MHT CET?

Sajal Trivedi 10th Feb, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Candidates must be eligible for the NEET test in order to apply for admission to the Maharashtra MBBS Course. Only those who pass the NEET exam are eligible to apply for MBBS admissions. Admission to MBBS has nothing to do with MHT-CET. You can only get admitted to any Indian medical college if you meet the requirements for NEET.

Thank you

is there any college which offers mathematics and computing which accepts mht cet?

Tanya Gupta 9th Feb, 2025

Hello,

In Maharashtra, the Mathematics and Computing specialization is primarily offered by premier institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), which require JEE Advanced scores for admission. Colleges accepting MHT CET scores, such as ICT Mumbai, College of Engineering Pune, and VJTI Mumbai, primarily offer core engineering disciplines. However, some private institutions may offer related programs. For instance, MIT World Peace University in Pune offers a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specializations in areas like Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

I passed Class 12 from CBSE but later improved 4 subjects via NIOS, so I have 2 marksheets. Will NITs, IIITs (JoSAA) & private colleges (VIT, MHT CET, WBJEE) accept them? How should I fill JEE form to avoid issues? Any proof or past cases? Please Help

Tanya Gupta 9th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Yes, NITs, IIITs (JoSAA), and private colleges (VIT, MHT CET, WBJEE) generally accept NIOS improvement marksheets if they meet the eligibility criteria. While filling the JEE form, enter details from the latest marksheet (NIOS improved subjects) to avoid confusion. Past cases show students with NIOS improvement getting admission. However, check specific college policies, as some may have restrictions on improvement exams from open boards.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Is birth certificate name and adhar card name required same as it is for mht cet registeration

Afreen 3rd Feb, 2025

For MHT CET registration, it's essential to ensure that your name matches across various documents, including:

1. *Birth Certificate*: Your birth certificate name should match your Aadhaar card name.

2. *Aadhaar Card*: Your Aadhaar card name should match your birth certificate name.

3. *HSC/12th Standard Certificate*: Your HSC/12th standard certificate name should also match your birth certificate and Aadhaar card name.

4. *MHT CET Registration Form*: When filling out the MHT CET registration form, ensure that your name matches the one on your birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and HSC/12th standard certificate.

If there's a mismatch in your name across these documents, you might face issues during the admission process. To avoid this:

1. *Verify your documents*: Double-check your birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and HSC/12th standard certificate to ensure your name is consistent.

2. *Correct any discrepancies*: If you find a mismatch, correct it by updating your Aadhaar card or birth certificate before registering for MHT CET.

3. *Use the correct name*: When registering for MHT CET, use the correct name as per your verified documents.

Remember, it's crucial to ensure your name consistency to avoid any complications during the admission process.
