cutoff of Mht cet also fee stru cture

monag2673 3rd Sep, 2024
MHT CET Cutoff and Fee Structure

Cutoff: The MHT CET cutoff varies each year depending on factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the performance of candidates. While I cannot provide the exact cutoff for 2024 as it hasn't been released yet, you can typically find this information on the official MHT CET website or through educational news portals.

Fee Structure: The fee structure for MHT CET can vary slightly depending on the category of the candidate (general, OBC, SC/ST) and the type of college they choose. However, the general fee structure usually includes:

Application Fee: A nominal fee is charged for filling out the MHT CET application form.Entrance Exam Fee: A fee is charged for appearing in the MHT CET examination.Counseling Fee: A fee is charged for participating in the counseling process.Tuition Fee: The tuition fee for engineering colleges in Maharashtra varies based on the college's reputation, location, and the branch chosen. Government colleges generally have lower tuition fees compared to private colleges.

It's important to note that the fee structure can change from year to year. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the official website of the MHT CET or contact the admissions offices of the colleges you are interested in.

if I have given jee is it compulsory to upload the jee result in mhcet counselling application form? yes or. no ?

monag2673 27th Jul, 2024

Yes, if you have appeared for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and are participating in MHT CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) counseling, it is generally required to upload your JEE result in the MHT CET counseling application form if the counseling process or college you are applying to asks for it.

Reasons:

  1. Eligibility Verification : The JEE result may be used to verify your eligibility for certain engineering courses or institutions that accept both MHT CET and JEE scores.

  2. Admission Process : Some institutions or specific engineering programs might consider JEE scores alongside MHT CET scores for admission. Uploading your JEE result helps in this consideration.

  3. Document Requirements : Counseling authorities may have specific document requirements, including JEE results, to complete your application process. Failure to upload necessary documents could affect your admission chances.

Action Steps:

  1. Check Counseling Guidelines : Review the MHT CET counseling guidelines carefully to see if JEE scores are required.
  2. Contact Authorities : If you’re unsure, contact the counseling authorities or the admissions office of the colleges to clarify the document requirements.

Uploading your JEE result as per the guidelines ensures that your application is complete and considered fully during the counseling process.

hope this helps you!!

what is cost management quota in fergusson for BA-LLB,BBA-LLB and what is process how to apply for management quota

monag2673 16th Jul, 2024

Management quota seats are available in Fergusson College for BA LLB and BBA LLB programs. These seats are typically filled through a direct admission process, bypassing the merit-based entrance exam route.

To apply for a management quota seat, you would generally need to contact authorized admission consultants or agents. These intermediaries can guide you through the application process, which often involves submitting required documents and paying a higher fee compared to regular admissions.

It's essential to verify the authenticity and reliability of the admission consultant or agent before proceeding. Direct interactions with the college might be limited for management quota admissions, making the role of intermediaries crucial.

which clg I get for B pharm in Mumbai or Pune with mht cet %ile 48%ile

monag2673 16th Jul, 2024

The competition for B.Pharm seats, particularly in these metropolitan cities, is intense. Colleges like Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, and Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, typically have high cutoffs.

With a 48 percentile, your chances of getting into these top institutions are low. However, there might be possibilities in other private colleges or those with lower cutoffs.

I recommend exploring colleges in other cities or considering private universities. Additionally, you can try for management quota seats, if available, but be prepared for higher fees.

hope this helps you!!

I failed in Feb & July 2023 HSC exams, then passed in Feb-24. I was exempted from Env. Edu and Physical Edu. Now, I am filling MHCET Btech counselling form & while entering qualification details, entering the passing year as 2024 instead of 2024 (reexam) automatically retrieves info. Am I a normal candidate or a repeater according to MHCET?

monag2673 27th Jul, 2024

Based on the details you provided, you passed your HSC exams in February 2024 after failing in the February and July 2023 exams, and you were exempted from Environmental Education and Physical Education. When filling out the MHT CET B.Tech counseling form, if the system automatically retrieves your passing year as 2024, it suggests that you are being considered as a candidate who passed in the current academic year.

Classification:

  1. Normal Candidate : Since you have ultimately passed your HSC exams in February 2024 and are entering the year of passing as 2024, you would typically be classified as a regular candidate. This status is usually for those who have cleared their exams in the current academic year.

  2. Repeater Status : You may be considered a repeater only if your application or specific requirements categorize you based on previous attempts. However, this status generally applies to those who are repeating the exam but not necessarily to those who ultimately pass in the current year after previous attempts.

Action Steps:

  1. Verify Details : Ensure all other details in your form are correctly filled, including any exemptions.
  2. Contact Authorities : Reach out to the MHT CET counseling authorities to confirm your status and ensure there are no issues with your application.

Clarifying your status with the counseling authorities will ensure that your application is processed accurately.

hope this helps you!!

I have got 97.86 percentile in MHT CET 2024 (PCM) .WHICH COLLEGE SHOULD I CHOOSE WITH LOW FEES AND GOOD PLACEMENT AND SPORTS OPPORTUNITES? I HAVE IN MIND WALCHAND COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ELETRICAL BRANCH (BUT IT IS CORE BRANCH ) OR GCOE NAGPUR COMPUTER SCIENCE (BUT PLACEMNT IS AVG.) OR ANY OTHER

monag2673 15th Jul, 2024

With a 97.86 percentile in MHT CET, you have excellent options.

While Walchand College of Engineering is reputed, consider exploring other options for better placement and potential sports opportunities. GCOE Nagpur's average placement might be a concern.

Prioritize colleges with strong industry connections, good placement records, and active sports culture.

Consider these factors:

  • Location: Cities like Pune, Mumbai, and Nagpur offer more job opportunities.
  • Branch Preference: Apart from Computer Science, explore other branches like IT, Electronics, or even emerging fields.
  • College Infrastructure: Good labs, libraries, and sports facilities are crucial.

Some potential options to explore:

  • Government colleges: Consider colleges like COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, or PICT Pune for lower fees and good placements.
  • Reputed private colleges: Explore options like MIT Pune, VIT Pune, or DYPCOE Pune for strong placements.
