Most probably you can easily get top NITs like MNIT ,NIT tirruchirapalli,NIT Raipur, NIT delhi etc.

All three college are well known among the people in their respective localities but are not so famous nationwide for the management programmes.

 1)BIT Mesra

Admission Process- To take admission in BIT Mesra, You have to appear for either CAT, XAT, CMAT or MAT of the respective years. You have to secure 40 percentile(35 for ST/SC) in CAT, XAT or CMAT and a score of 320(280 for ST/SC) in MAT, which is followed by GD and PI. 

Seats- Home seats (60) and All India Seats (60).

Fees- Per semester is between 1.13 lacs to 1.26 lacs approximately.

Placement- Since this Institution is popular for engineering, Therefore companies do visit for MBA profiles. College offers enough opportunities for campus placements and do get placed with exceptions.

Facilities-  The Birla's are known for their world class facilities and large student friendly Lush green campus with quality education with great selection of faculties. Other ameneties like Smart class rooms, Wi-Fi, library, Hostels, Sport Complex and good transport facilities.

2)XISS Ranchi 

Admission Process- One has to qualify national level entrance exams like CAT, XAT and CMAT, which is followed by an Assessment in Writing Skill, GD and PI.

Cut Offs-  for CAT and XAT-: HRM-60( 40 for ST/SC)

                                          Finance and Marketing-50(30 for ST/SC)

                                          RM and IT-40(25 for ST/ SC)

               for CMAT-: HRM-65(45 for ST/SC)

                               Finance and Marketing-55(35 for ST/SC)

                               RM and IT-45(30 for ST/SC)

Seats- Human Resource Mangement(75) and Rural Management(75), IT, Marketing,Finance- 60 for each. 50% seats are reserved for ST, SC and Christian candidates.

Fees- Approximately 10 lacs for whole course.

Placement- The college offers good placement opportunities with the average placement of 5-6 lacs. The students of HRM and RM departments get better placements than other departments.

Facilities- This institution is managed by Xaviers Known for their excellent educational institutions all over the world. This provides great class rooms,Hostels, Library etc.

3)MNIT JAIPUR 

Admission Process- To get admission you have to qualify entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT followed by GD and PI. Selection depends upon the marks obtained in the above exams and the scores of GD and PI.

Seats- Total 62. Since,  This is a government institution, So reservation policy applies as per government rules.

Fees- Odd Semester:- 55,300 Rs(General), 20,300 Rs(ST/SC) which includes one time fees of cation money and other charges.

         Even Semester:-42,300 Rs(General), 7,300 Rs (ST/SC).

Placement- Since this is also an engineering college, Companies do visit for engineering profile but the placements for management profile is not remarkable. For 2017-18, 16 students got placed.

Facilities-This college is  managed by Government of India. It provides Hostels, lecture halls, great ambience and student friendly campus.

So, Suggestion :If money is not the barrier for you then you can go for XISS Ranchi, as it has the highest package and more management focused institution. You can also opt for BIT Mesra as it also provides decent package placement. And if money is a barrier for you and you want to study in an institution of national importance government institution then you can go for MNIT JAIPUR.

As you know both these colleges are most prefered for Engineering and hence they are not much preferred for MBA. 

If choosing between these comes into the table then please go for BIT Mesra as it is somewhat better than MNIT Jaipur according to me.

In 199 CMAT there are other B-school which is wholly based on MBA

1 XISS Ranchi

2 MIT Pune

3 UPES Dehradun

4 School of Communication, Cochin

5 Jaipuria Institute of Management.

With 96.20 percentile, your category rank shall be around 10,000-12,000. However, the cut off for OBC in Mechanical doesn't really go beyond 5,000-6,000. 

You should try harder in the April attempt. For now, your chances are less.
