Yes,  you can do that. It's better to do of in the same field you opted for in BTECH. And also in order to do that you need to to take either GATE or the entrance exam for your state engineering colleges.

A non engineer can't get admission in vinod gupta school of management studies,iit roorkee. Aperson needs to be an engineer for admission for this course in this particular college. You can apply for other IITs for MBA as you have a strong possibility of getting admission in those with that

Both are not good as the fees is quite high and return of investments is bad. The placements are only of sales and it doesn't matter from which field you are. You are going to be placed for sales only. If you want to go for core finance the scenario
