MAT candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, or an equivalent degree recognised by the test organisation. Students in their final year of any undergraduate programme (e.g., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.) are eligible to appear provisionally.

A minimum percentage requirement for graduation is usually set by the MI or the university, and this percentage requirement varies from one MI or university to another. For further information, consult the prospectus of the specific MIs/University.

Good to know that you are interested in pursuing Management in IIEST Shibpur. The MAT score that was accepted during the admissions of the batch of 2017-2019 was minimum 85 percentile.

Let me provide you with the other cutoffs and admission criteria as well so that you can do a comparative analysis.

The other requirements were as the following:-

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

A valid CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT score. For, CAT/XAT the score should be minimum of 65 percentile. For MAT/CMAT the score will be a minimum of 85 percentile.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the GD(Group Discussion) and Interview for the final selection.
