i got 594 marks in neet 20 in general category haryana state..what are my chances of getting a seat in all india quota in govt.or private institution and where should i preferably apply to get a secure seat with minimum fee structure in management quota?

Aarti singh 25th Oct, 2020
Hello hemant
I want to suggest you something ,As you got 594 marks which is very good, Only few students have got these marks but for 15% all india quota ,students have to score more than 600 for government college but according to your marks you have a great of private college but you can apply for state quota, You have a very good chance of getting government college from state quota ..And for management quota, So if you have any dought of getting or not getting college, you can reserve your seat in management quota but in my opinion the fee of those college you get through management quota is high...
Hope this information is beneficial for you
Thankyou

I am getting 373 marks in NEET in General category , please suggest for college & any possibility in government college in management seat. Domicile Rajasthan

rachanapbennur 25th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant!

You have not mentioned your domicile state. However getting a govt college is difficult for you. There are chances for you in private institutions like Siddhartha medical college(Karnataka), Krishna Institute of Medical Science(Maharastra), MGM Medical College (Mumbai), Sri Ramachandra Medical College (Tamil Nadu) etc. Getting top private institutions is difficult.

Now, government colleges do not have management quota . The reservation in government colleges is purely based on the reservation policies set by the government of India. Only private institutions have management seats.

You can use our college predictor tool to get a better idea of which college you might get.

NEET EXAM 2020 RESULT WHEN COME? PLZ GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT GOVT,PRIVATE, MANAGEMENT SEAT REGISTRATION?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Sep, 2020

NEET results will be declared tentatively in the last week of September. In India,we have Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities. And admission to these Institutions is conducted through All India Counselling and State Counselling. Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.

Now for both All India Counselling and State Counselling, you should register once the NEET merit list has been released. There will be Round 1, Round 2 and Mop up Round for Counselling. You need to register for Counselling. So the steps are:

  1. Appear for NEET and qualify
  2. Wait for the results and the merit list
  3. Register for Counselling by paying refundable and non refundable fees
  4. During Choice Locking, select Colleges that you want a seat in
  5. And once the seat has been alotted join the College if you like or participate in the further Rounds.
