This is a question regarding NEET councelling. Im an NRI student, so I was wondering if I can apply through management for the state quota but for All India apply through the NRI quota? Or is it such that I have to only apply through NRI or management for both state and All India Councelling.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

Aryan, this depends on the State that you belong to. For example, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamilnadu allow NRIs of these States to participate in the Management Quota and NRI Quota of the Private Medical Colleges. So you can select NRI quota at All India Level and select Management Quota at State Level. If you have appeared for NEET, for a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Manasi Kadam 14th Oct, 2020

Hello there,

400 is a good score but not enough if you are from general category and want to take admission in Deccan Medical college. If you check with the previous year's cut off's of this college, it was 384 for Management quota in 85% state quota then for 15% general category you can consider the cut off to be around 550

For more information regarding neet cut off of colleges in telangana, you can visit the following link:

shubham 14th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Considering the fees and placement for Electronics and communication engineering

Aditya institute of technology and management had fees for the course Rs 2.88 lakhs and 95% placement in 2019 which was increased from 63% in 2018 and they have median salary for engineering around Rs 2.70 lakhs per annum.

Where as in Anil neerukonda institute of technology and sciences have more fees for ECE that is Rs 3.66 lakhs and only 53% placement in 2019 and it was 33% in 2018. They have median salary of Rs 3.50 lakhs

Considering all the factors if you want low fees and more chances of placement and ready to have little low salary then you should go for Aditya institute of technology.

how will management quota seats be given un amrita is it based on the aeee 2020 merit list(rank list) prepared or based on the cbse marks 2020

Sreeja Siva 13th Sep, 2020

Hi,

You should give the details of AEEE/JEE or SAT exams while applying for management seats because appearance to anyone of this exam is mandatory for admission in Btech courses. But management seats is not based on merit of entrance exam. But you should score minimum 60%in plus two science(physics, maths and chemistry) also should have 55% seperately on each subject. Once you pay fees and take admission to management seat you won't be considered for other merit seats. All the best.

Sir, Please provide me fees details for Management quota in private colleges in Karnataka

Kanith Sawkar 13th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

I believe you are referring to fees details of management quota seats at private medical colleges in Karnataka. In that case, admission for management seats is based on NEET marks and candidates must have obtained minimum qualifying marks in NEET. Based on that, private quota seats are divided into three categories: private seats, NRI seats and other seats.

Students with slightly better scores in NEET can get private seats for which fees is Rs 7 lakhs per year. NRI quota seats is for those who have studied 10+2 abroad and fees for this is Rs 25 lakhs and above per year. For students who have low scores in NEET, they can get the 'other' seats, for which fees is around Rs 25 to 30 lakhs per year. Fees will vary for different colleges.
