sir my score is around 260 can i get MBBS seat in management qouta or Hyderabad Karnataka quota is low budget like around 30 lacks for total MBBS course

Kanith Sawkar 7th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

In your case, Hyderabad-Karnataka quota won't be helpful since your NEET score is not sufficient for a seat through government quota that is 85% state quota. However, it seems like you may have a chance of getting an MBBS seat through management quota, but you won't get a low budget seat. Expect the fees to be Rs 35 lakhs and above for your MBBS course. You can expect to get a management seat at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, BGS Institute of Medical Sciences, Kengeri etc.

For a more accurate prediction where you have a best chance of management MBBS seat, check out NEET College Predictor 2020 in the link below:

Rashmita Paul 7th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

In KS Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, there are total 150 seats. So it is quite difficult with this marks to get in to this college. As you got 362. Your Overall Percentile is: 86.48 - 86.98 and when it comes to rank, your Predicted Rank is :187147 - 219297. Also depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota  and 85% state quota seats in government colleges.

Hi I am expecting 500 marks in NEET 2020. Will I get a management seat in Karnataka if not a Governtment Seat. Please help me!

Guljabin Quadri 7th Oct, 2020

Hello,

According to your marks your overall Percentile is: 96.11 - 96.61, and your Predicted Rank is: 51572 - 63722.

It will be quite difficult to get admission in Government colleges but other factors also plays a significant role like the category you belong to, your home state and the cut off of the colleges .

sir.I am fresh graduate in Bachelor of Management Studies (Funance) 2020 Should i go for PGDM (hybrid) at Wellingkar s mumbai now ? course begining this month....please advise. iam vonfused.

Vineeth Wilson 28th Aug, 2020

Hai Rosy,

PGDM expands to Post Graduate Diploma in Management, the confusion starts when you see the term Diploma. Many students are of the view that it is a Diploma course and not a Degree; you are right to an extent that it is a Diploma. The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's doesn't offer MBA degrees they only give PGP Diploma or PGDM since they are autonomous and independent bodies.
When an Institute secures autonomy they design their own curriculum to be taught instead of following outdated University syllabus. The reason why they chose to do is because the curriculum can be updated regularly depending on the need in Industry. Hence one can say that PGDM courses are more Industry relevant as compared to MBA courses.
Colleges which offer AICTE approved courses will also offer PGDM not MBA, for example ABC College is affiliated to Bangalore University they offer MBA course affiliated to that University, the same college is offering AICTE approved course it means they are offering PGDM which is not linked to Bangalore University.
Typically if any PGDM is to be equivalent to MBA then the course duration should be 2 years, a 1 year PGDM will not be equal to MBA course.
Yes, it makes sense to go for PGDM after BMS

If i get 5k below rank in ap eamcet can i get cse in jntuk by management quota for cse can i ask in jntuk. will i get

Vinay Kumar 7th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

You cannot be able to get a seat through management quota in government institutes like Jntu's etc .You can only get a seat when meet the cutoff's .

JNTU kakinada is one of the top colleges in andhra pradesh, so inorder to get a seat in cse group in that college, you need to get a good rank and it also depends on the category which you are from.

If you belong to open category then you need to get a rank 1000 to get cse.

For other categories you may get cse if you score below 4000.

Hope this helps

Good luck
