Hope you are doing well and coming to your question you have not mentioned in which exam 241/800 . Hopefully supposing it about MIT entrance exam I will say it is difficult to say or predict as the exam pattern of MIT has changed this

With 293 marks out of 800 marks you may get some lower branch like mechanical , food and others.

For core branch you need to score much higher than this score .But with 293 you will not get any core branch at all.
