158 marks in MET and 83.2 percent in boards , what can be my rank?

Tanisha chaudhary 17th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

With 158 marks in MET 2025 and 83.2% in your board exams, your anticipated MET rank is likely to be between 501 and 2,000.

How this is done:

Based on the official MET 2025 marks vs rank data:

  • 150–169 marks: Likely rank is 501–2,000.
  • For 158 marks, you will probably fall in the middle of this range, so your rank will be approximately 800–1,500.

Your 83.2% board percentage is good for eligibility but has no impact on your MET rank.

I scored 107 marks in met and scored 339 in 12th in PCME can I get admission in Bangalore cse

gopi 17th May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Admission into Computer Science Engineering (CSE) colleges in Bangalore will depend on a variety of factors: entrance exam scores, 12th-grade scores, the cutoff set by the specific college you are applying for.

  • You have done well with a MET score of 107, and you should check the latest cutoff ranks for CSE for Bangalore colleges, as these can be very competitive.
  • Your score in 12 PCME (339) must also be taken into consideration for eligibility.

In order to maximize your chances:

  1. Look up college-specific cutoffs for CSE in Bangalore.
  2. You should consider applying to more than one college and applying in counselling rounds.
  3. Also, keep alternative options in your mind in regard to related branches or in different cities if necessary.

i got 89 in the MET test for ug allied helath sciences - BPT (physiotherapy) will i get in?

Niharika Patibandla 17th May, 2025

Hey there! An MET score of 89 for allied sciences - BPT (physiotherapy) puts you in a moderate possibility range. But your chances depend upon the no. Of applicants, difficulty of the exam, seat availability and category ( OC, BC, etc). In previous years, BPT programs at Manipal University typically had higher cutoffs often around 100-110 for general category seats. Your chances may be lower in the first round,  but you could still get in during later rounds.  All the best!

I got 107 marks in met and 339 marks in board in PCME What is the rank

kumardurgesh1802 16th May, 2025

Hello there,

Based on your MET score of 107 out of 240 and Class 12 PCME marks totaling 339 , here's an estimate of your expected rank and potential admission prospects:

Estimated Rank

Considering the MET 2025 scoring trends, a score of 107 typically corresponds to a rank of approximately 8,000 to 11,000 .

Your Class 12 marks (339 out of 400 in PCME) translate to approximately 84.75% , which is a commendable score. Since MET considers both entrance exam scores and board marks, your strong board performance may positively influence your overall rank.

Admission Chances

With a rank in the 8,000–11,000 range, securing admission to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Manipal Main Campus is unlikely, as the closing rank for CSE in 2024 was 1,633 .

However, you may have better prospects at other NMIMS campuses:

  • Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) : In previous years, MUJ has admitted students with ranks up to approximately 35,000 for CSE.

  • Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) : This campus generally has higher closing ranks, potentially increasing your chances of admission.

    Next Steps

To get a more precise prediction of your admission chances, you can use the MET College Predictor tools:

These tools allow you to input your MET score and board marks to estimate your rank and see which branches and campuses you might be eligible for.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

i have scored 91percent in boards and 92 marks in met what could be my possible rank and what branches I can get at manipal?

tanvi bansal 23rd Jul, 2025

Dear Aspirant,

With a board score of 91% and a MET score of 92, your estimated rank is likely to fall between 20,000 and 25,000, based on previous years' trends. While this score may not be sufficient to secure top-demand branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), CSE-AI, or Information Technology (IT) at the Manipal main campus in the initial counselling rounds, you may still have a chance to get branches like Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering in the later rounds. However, you have a much better chance of securing CSE, IT, or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Manipal’s Bengaluru campus or even at the Sikkim campus, which generally have lower closing ranks. It's advisable to keep your preferences flexible and participate in all rounds of counselling, including the sliding and spot rounds. Additionally, you may also explore internal branch sliding after the first year if your academic performance is strong.

Best of Luck

150 marks met and board exam...471 can I get csc course in manihpal main campus

Nikita shahi 25th Aug, 2025

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

With 150 marks in MET, the chances for CSE in the main (Manipal) campus are very low, since cutoff for CSE usually goes above 200+ marks. But you may get branches like ECE, Mechanical, Chemical, IT, or maybe CSE in Jaipur/Sikkim campus. If you’re fixed on CSE, Jaipur campus is easier at that score.

Thank you!

I got 122/240 in MET Is there any chance of getting mechanical stream in MET

Nikita shahi 27th Jul, 2025

Hi,

With a score of 122 out of 240 in MET , you do stand a moderate chance of getting into the Mechanical Engineering stream, depending on the year’s cut-offs and the round of counselling. In recent years, the cut-off for Mechanical Engineering has typically hovered between 100–135, though it varies based on the number of applicants and seat availability.

Since your score is quite close to the average cut-off range, you might get Mechanical Engineering in later rounds or at the Manipal Jaipur or Sikkim campuses, if not the main Manipal campus initially. Make sure you participate in all rounds of counselling and keep your options flexible.
