Manipal Institute of Technology provides a unique curriculum that allows for a lot of practical experience. Undergraduate students spend roughly 4 to 6 months in the workplace during their studies, whereas postgraduate students spend about a year.

MIT Manipal requires each student to complete at least a one-month internship in order to complete their course and receive a degree. This internship is available after the second or third year of study.
