sir I am studying btech in manufacturing engineering branch sir I want to know in any job notification their are no manufacturing branch noticed for job then in which branch we should apply for job (mechanical or production or in both) and in which branch we should give GATE exam ???

Some PSUs recruit manufacturing engineering students given that they apply through mechanical discipline in GATE exam.

These include NTPC, BHEL, GAIL, MDL, VIZAG, STEEL and SAIL. Although mechanical students are preferred, manufacturing students are also given chance.
