I was born on 2008 augest 29 that means my age will come 17 years before 2024 December 31sth but before exam on March will be exams conducted so I will get 16 years before exam that means I was 16 running in 2024 my doubt is can I eligible for neet 2024 please answer me

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2021

Hi

First of all how are you counting your age? You won't be 17 years old before 31st December 2024

If you are born on 29th August 2008 then you will be 17 years old on 29th August 2025.

Your age at the time of neet examination doesn't matter, one needs to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of  the year of appearing for Neet examination.

Thus,
For neet 2024,you need to be at least 17 years  old as on 31st December 2024 but you fail to fulfill this criteria as you will be 17 years old on 29th August 2025 i. e after 31st December 2024  and thus not eligible for Neet 2024.

You will be eligible in 2025 i. e for neet 2025.

Also,
For being eligible for neey one must be either appearing for 12th board examination or you should have passed it with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least
---) 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category ,
---) or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category.

Hello Aspirant

The candidates who have already completed their HSS examination or class 12 will have their NEET code as 02. Since you have already completed your class 12th in the year 2019 and this is your 3rd attempt, the NEET code for you will be 02. So don't worry whatever is filled in your form is correct.

Prepare well for your exam.
All the best!!

Hey,

Union Public Services Commission is the sole responsible body for conducting Combined Defence Services entrance exam. Candidates opt out for different academies and so does the age limit varies.

Indian Military Academy: Male candidates who were born between the 2nd January 1999 to January 1, 2004 are eligible to apply.

Indian Naval Academy: Male candidates who were born between the 2nd January 1999 to January 1, 2004 can apply.

Air Force Academy: As of January 1, 2022, the candidate must be between the ages of 20 and 24. It indicates that the candidate must have been born between the 2nd of January 1999 and the 1st of January 2003.

Candidates with a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence granted by the DGCA (India) are eligible to apply. They must be 26 years old (born between 2nd January 1997 and 1st January 2003).

Officers Training Academy: Candidates must have been born between the 2nd of January 1998 and the 1st of January 2004.

hello everyone, I am Anukriti Sharma and I m in class 12 th right now . I was born on 12 th march 2004 and I m eligible for NEET 2021 but my syllabus is not complete as I have entered my class 12 th this year. Should I give NEET 2021 or give it next year?? please help me

Sudha Sharma 14th Jul, 2021
If you have entered in 12th this year then i will suggest you that you should not give neet this year.. as bcoz you will be scoring very less on the basis of class 11th syllabus nd this score will alwz demotivate you .. nd you know it very well 11th k basis pr u cant score 600+ nd you must score 620+ to get into a govt. medical college .

So forget about this neet .. focus on your 12th nd give it after 12th .

Well after giving an advice to someone i alwz last up my sentence by saying " aage tumhari marji " so tht they couldn't blaim me for ruining their life.

My income and asset certificate(EWS) was made on 16th March 2021 based on the financial year 2020-21 but UPSC has asked for EWS based on the financial year 2019-20. Will it be considered?

GyanaPrakashRout 2nd Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

There is no guideline that you can use your EWS certificate dated on 16th march 2021. UPSC has asked for EWS cerificate based on financial year 2019-2020 but it should dated on or before 1st August 2019. In that prospect you can't use your EWS certificate if you have previous year certificate kindly upload that.

I got 230 overall marks in jee mains out of 360 in march shift 2021 but got only 79.1789 something percentile.....rather all are saying u should get 99+ percentile.....is it true.....can I get good college....I am from general category

Tanmay V 13th Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

JEE Mains Paper 1 is of total 300 marks and not 360, paper pattern changed from last year 2020. 230 out of 300 is quite a good score for a good percentile.

There might be something missing , sometimes due to this percentile relative system there are chances of getting low percentile on even high marks.Focus on next JEE attempt.

in February, March jee main session I have applied with ews certificate valid till 31 March. So I can apply same ews certificate for May session

puneetpotter 12th Jul, 2021

Dear aspirant,

I'm sorry to inform you but yo u can use your EWS certificate for any application forms, for any number of times but only till it's validation. Usually, an EWS certificate is valid for an year. You should check your government issued certificates validity and according to that use your certificates.

I would advise you to apply for renewal of your certificate otherwise you cannot apply with EWS certificate.

Hope this helps!
