When I filled form of jee mains for Feb & March my catogary was general due to not availability of EWS certificate. I have 90.11 percentile in Feb result. After that I am filling form for April & May session with EWS certificate. Please confirm my Feb session marks will be considered in EWS/GEN

Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course, it will be considered because if you make correction in your application form and specially in category then it will be considered for all attempts, so even if you are General candidate and changing your category to Gen-EWS for further attempts in same application form

I had registered for JEE Mains Feb and March sessions. Now, I want to register for the April session. I read that I had to log in with my existing Application No. and password. I did so, but can not find the option to register for the April/May session. Please help before the last date.

Hi,

To apply for April and May session, you first have to login with your existing Application number and password. Now, you have to choose  correction in Application form link from where you can edit the details and add April and May sessions after which you can proceed for payment.

This totally are different subjects dear. If you want to be an engineer then you can go for BTech. BTech is bachalor of Technology study. There so many options for choosing stream like

  • Computer science engineering
  • Electrical engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Mechanical engineering

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 222502 - 250125 for 78.25 and 302501 - 340055 for 70.43 but

Actually that thing percentile depends upon some factors. But however in this percentile your rank can be between 480810 - 540500

Sorry to say you but this is not a very good marks and in this marks you cannot get top institutes like in nit, top government colleges

The previous year cutoffs for JEE Mains OBC category was:-

  • 2020 - 72.8887969 percentile
  • 2019 - 74.3166557 percentile
  • 2018 - AIR 65313
