No, IMU CET is not required for Marine Engineering in CUSAT. Candidates interested in Marine engineering in CUSAT need to give Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT). Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Marine Engineering is a full-time four years duration course Affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi Approved by AICTE. Admissions will be based on the rank in the admission test, conducted for the purpose. Selected candidates will have to undergo remedial courses as decided by the University.

I would like to tell you that there are not any specific chapters that is required in class 11th and 12th for Marine Engineering, But, you still have to focus on 3 main subjects to get Marine Engineering course, and that is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Question, in various Entrance exams, will definitely be asked from thee 3 Subjects from class 11th and from class 12th syllabus. So, prepare these 3 subjects at the most.
The eligibility Criteria for Marine Engineering ;
For UG Courses – Minimum educational qualification of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a compulsory subjects is required for this course. If you completed a three year diploma in marine engineering, you can apply for UG course in marine engineering.
