Indian Maritime University (IMU) offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs to the students who wish to pursue their career in the field of marine.

Fee structure is as mentioned below:

3 Year B.Sc(Nautical Science) For Male Cadets Rs 2,20,000/-per annum For Female Cadets Rs.1,40,500/- per annum.

when IMUCET exam will be held in 2021?

Dear Aspirant

Indian Maritime University (IMU) will conduct IMU CET 2021 to provide admissions into the various engineering undergraduate courses offered by the campuses. Registrations for IMU CET 2021 will commence tentatively from the first week of April. All eligible candidates will have to submit the application form of IMU CET 2021 tentatively before the second week of May to participate in the entrance examination and admission process.

There are various entrance exams which you can apply for admission to Marine Engineering such as JEE Main , JEE Advanced  , AP EAMCET  , WBJEE  etc. Some of the institutes also conduct their own entrance exams for admission to Marine Engineering course such as LPUNEST  , SRMJEEE

How much marks are required in TMISAT for Marine Engineering ?

Hello aspirant

It's not only about the least marks. It also depends on how other score and your 12th PCM % (above 70% is good) . Like if you score 60 and 80% people score above 65 than you are in problem.. In other case if you score 45 and 80 %people score below you than it's most likely that you will be selected.

you can not take both stream together. But for details contact to the college authority. Marine engineer is particularly responsible for the maintenance of ship, huge amount machinery & daily routines. While The Bachelor of Architecture is a bachelor's degree designed to satisfy the academic requirement of practicing architecture.

Marine engineer is particularly responsible for the maintenance of ship, huge amount machinery & daily routines. While aeronautical engineer follows research, design, development & performance testing of commercial & military airplanes, weapon system etc.

Hello,

The course comprises the study of various systems and controls used on a ship to control navigation and maintain the safety of those on board.

  • Candidates who have completed their 10+2 education in Science stream from a recognised Board where they have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics compulsorily and have secured a minimum overall aggregate of 60% are eligible.
  • Should submit the certificates at the time of admission.
  • Age group should be between 17 & 25 years.
  • Candidates who wish to join marine engineering course can take part in the AIEEE .The students can also attend IIT JEE, MERI, IMU CET, AICET, etc. to secure admission for engineering courses.

For BE Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, last year's state cutoff rank was 9772.
