Will BBA studies help to become marketing manager or BMS studies help to become a marketing manager?

Abhisht Raj Pandey 25th May, 2018
Dear student,
I would like to tell you that BBA and BMS are similar courses.
They offer more or less same subjects. Its just that some colleges give BMS a special importance. So its your choice to go for either of the course.
BBA stands BACHELORS IN BUSINNES ADMINISTRATION AND
BMS stands for BACHELORS OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES.
All the best.

I wanna become a marketing manager so which MBA course should i choose? And can girls become a Marketing manager?

Sabuj Sinha 10th Nov, 2017
Of course girls can be a marketing manager. In IIMs you don't choose your domain right away. You join a post graduate diploma course where in specialization comes to the picture only in the second year. Basically you choose your courses from a variety of electives offered in the second year and based on them you specialize in a particular domain. So,  if you are interested in marketing you can choose marketing electives. Some colleges also let you specialize in the kind of marketing you want to do. For example in marketing you can choose to specialize in FMCG marketing or retail marketing and so on. In other colleges like FMS, XLRI, MDI also it works in almost the same way.

I scored 8.8 gdp in 10th class and i am studying 1st year .what should i do to become a marketing manager? please answar...

abhijit.scd 9th Nov, 2017

Hi,

If you aspiring to be a marketing manager then you must start working on your communication, relation ship building and negotiation skills. These are the 3 must have skill for a marketing manager.

A person who is good at selling or having convincing power is best fit for tbe job.

You need not to be a MBA for landed up in a marketing manager job but now a days corporates prefers a MBA over a general graduate. If you have a degree from a top tier school you have more chances of skiping the hierarchy to be a marketing manager as soon as you step out of the college.

Let me know stream you currently  perusing, so that I can guide you accordingly.
