How 80 percent means 54 marks in JEE MAINS?

Hello Aspirant,

See it is not percent, instead it must be percentile and percentile and percent are two different terms. If you get 80 percentile then it means that 84% candidates have scored equal to or less than your score in that shift.

Now it is not fixed that 80

Since you have not mentioned your category, so I am considering you as a GENERAL Category student. Looking at the previous year GUJCET Cutoff, you must need to score at least a minimum marks of around 120+ out of 200 to get Best and good Government based colleges

I scored 75% in 12th boards but i have 48 marks in Maths subject and the eligibility criteria of BITS is 60% in each PCM subject. will I be able to get admission?

Hi there. In response to your query as you yourself have mentioned that BITS indeed has a subject wise cutoff as well, hence it would not be possible for you to be enrolled in the institute based on the eligibility criteria. You would have to appear for an improvement exam
