Each college has its own admission criteria, first make a list of the colleges where you want to take admission and go through their exam pattern, solve previous year paper, mock paper in order to make yourself well acquainted with its exam process. I've already provided you a detailed list of the top colleges and entrance test they conduct for media courses.
You haven't name any specific entrance exam for mass communication, there are various such as IIMC which conducts admission for various courses in journalism for which eligibility criteria is having passed 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum 50%.
There's SET which is conducted by Symbiosis International University, the paper pattern is MCQ with no negative marking.
IPU CET is another entrance test for admission of BJMC and one needs to have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate to appear for this.
There is entrance exam called BMMMC conducted by IP College which is under DU, it's among top schools providing media courses.
Some other entrance exams are FTII Exam, XIC OET, SRFTI Exam, WLCI All India Common Entrance Test.

The Jamia Mila Islamia (JMI) University conducts Jamia Mila Islamia entrance test to shortlist the students for various UG and PG courses.
The eligibility criteria for mass communication in Jamia Mila Islamia University is that a candidate who is graduated in any discipline (10+2+3) is eligible to apply for this course. The candidate should also have secured at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate at the graduation level.
