I have completed my m.a in economics n now i applied for mass comm.n m confused.how to prepare for entrance tst n frm where?plz hlp me out.

Sanjana Singh 23rd May, 2019

Hey Jyotshna,

Hope you are doing well!

Well dear, preparing for an exam is big responcibility and the most important thing is to lead in the right direction. So,the first thing you must do is to study the syallbus properly and to know what to study and what not to,Also you must have the right study material for the exam,so that you don't waste your time in unecessary books etc. Then,I think following the below steps will help you alot

1)Planning

"Failing to Plan is planning to fail"

Calculate the time you have got for preparation and make a time table such that:

1)You complete the entire syallabus atleast a month before.

2)Assign a complete month for solving sample papers, previous year papers, revision of weak areas.

3)You have  a daily target to work on.

4)There are daily,weekely,monthly Revision Plan.

2) Make a daily Time table

  • Even though it comes under planning but thinking from a micro-day level is extremely important If you actually want to crack the exam, set daily targets and finish it the day itself.
  • The biggest secret of success lies in "Finish What You Start the day itself" that also gives a feeling of accomplisment and boosts your confidence
  • Try To keep an hour daily for revising all that you studied in that day.
  • Try to solve more and more problems as makes your concepts stronger.

3)Revision:

"Repitition is the mother of excellence"

The more you revise something, for the longer you are able to grasp it.

Try to complete the syallabus a month before. Keep Solving sample papers,to identify your weak areas and to make them stronger.

4)Test Series:

After solving sample papers and revising, its very important to keep revising till you can't get it wrong in the exam, while giving test series always consider it as the read exam and manage time properly also keep time for revising at the end of the exam.

Hope this was helpful!

All the best for your exam!

Keep Smiling :)

Saswat Subhankar Sahoo 23rd May, 2019

Dear candidate......

Well,, since you're a dropout from engineering and now you are already doing m.a in mass communication, so in my opinion you should continue with your m.a and complete a degree so that it can help you in your future getting a job in that particular field.

During your m.a , you can also try for side jobs and related work based upon your interest.

Hope this helps you out!!!!

Best of luck:)
