Just to add on to the answer stated below, Journalism and Mass Comm are more than just writing and communication. Even if your writing and speaking skills are average, you can pursue this course. The institutes do not require exceptional skills from their candidates.

If you are creatively inclined towards Mass Comm and wish to do such courses, you can pursue short-term certificate programmes for you. Although, it is advisable to complete your 12th with a good percentage and pursue a graduation in mass communication from a good institute.
