Hi Ostin, MIT generally doesnt have any entrance exams. They basically have certain pre requisites for getting admission into their college. One of the main pre requisite is SAT exam and the scores in it. SAT subject tests marks are considered. Next they want you to undertake another exam of english proficiency called TOEFL and scores need to provided as proof. You will then need to write essay in the application which is very important and given more weightage at par with SAT scores. Then you need to include extra circullar activity, olympiad awards, research on field you want to study and stuffs which are given high weightage. Next you would require two teachers recommendation, one from sciene and other from humanities. You need to literally prove your passion towards the field you need to study there to obtain a seat lastly. I hope this gives a general overview.

Hi Sulagna,
SAT results take approximately 5 weeks to be announced. The Early Action(EA) application for MIT is November 1 and November 30 is the EA deadline to complete all testing requirements for EA. I suggest taking the test in June would be a good idea. DO prepare well.
Admissions at MIT are very competitive. The MIT website reports about 9% of the students are international students.
