is math cumpulsory for fashion design

Ria Bafna 10th Jan, 2022

Hey aspirant

Without a doubt! Math is essential in all aspects of life. And by maths, I don't mean the difficult differentiation and integration of class 11 and 12, but rather elementary level maths up to class 10th. As a fashion professional, knowing fundamentals such as averages, percentages, sums, and so on will help you. The importance is in how quickly and accurately you can perform these functions; it's also a big plus if you can do it mentally and without needing to use a calculator every time.

Does Math compulsory in 12 th standard for getting admission in B.Com(Hons) or is DUET compulsory for admission in Hindu college, Delhi ?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 18th Feb, 2022

Hello,

The admission to B.Com (https://b.com/) (Hons) is not based on DUET score. Admission to B.Com (Hons) in Hindu College, Delhi is based on merit in 10+2. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks from a recognized board. You must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics/ equivalent paper at the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) for admission to B. Com. (Hons).  Criteria to calculate the best four marks is that you must include one language and three best subjects as per the following:

  • An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.

If you include any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate. A deduction of 2.5%  is applicable per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four if you Include any subject other than those in List A and List B in the combination of best three.

hi i am doing PCB and i want to do BTech so can will be eligible after i do math separate pls answer me

roshni 8th Jan, 2022

Hello,

Hope you are doing good!

Btech is surely a good platform for your career but a BTech is always beneficial when pursued from a good college or university. Because of low seats in the famous colleges, not all students are able to get admission in those colleges. BSc can be a good alternative for them. There are various job roles you can become a Civil Engineer, Computer Science Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Ceramic Engineer, Production Engineer, Mining Engineer, Automobile Engineer, or Robotics Engineer after completing a B. Tech course.

B.Tech professionals can further develop their skills and knowledge by pursuing higher education in this field. This will also help them land better jobs in the future. It requires a regular study and the student must be completely focused on the subjects and innovations that are taking place every day with the advancement in the technology .

2022 Eligibility for B.tech :

  1. Students must have to pass 10+2 with science stream having Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as their major subjects.
  2. Must have to complete their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of at least 50% marks in each of the subjects.
  3. There will be a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate score for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  4. For specializations like Biomedical or Biotechnology Engineering aspirants need to have Biology as a subject in the 12th Class.
  5. For admission to top colleges/ universities aspirants need to qualify the entrance examination, the scores or ranks of which will determine their admission to a college.
  6. Candidates may also be required to face Group discussion or personal interview round followed by a Document Verification process.

hi! for baslp do we need to have taken math and biology in 12th or math or biology?

Swapnali Datkhile 4th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

As per the eligibilty criteria for BASLP math is not compulsory subject.

To get admission in Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, you should be from a science background. This course is available for both medical and non-medical students. For instance, the eligibility criteria for admission in BASLP course are:

  • Firstly, the student should have completed their 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics from a recognised board of education.
  • Students from both mathematics as well as biology groups are eligible to apply for the BASLP program.
  • Secondly, the applicants must have a minimum of 50% or more in the 12th standard.
  • But the relaxation of up to 5% is offered to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
  • Furthermore, applicants need to clear the entrance exam and hold a good rank to get a college seat.
  • The NEET score is also not required for Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology programs, just the internal entrance exams merit.

Hope this helps !!!
