Sir, I have done my graduation bsc mathematics and my percentage is 49% but university is not recognised as major according to Prospectus.Am I eligible for Indian forest service? Kindly clear my doubt please.

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 29th Aug, 2025

For Indian Forest Service, the minimum eligibility is a bachelor’s degree in subjects like Animal Husbandry, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Agriculture/Forestry/Engineering from a recognized university. Since your degree is in Mathematics, that part is fine, but if your university isn’t recognized, then you won’t be considered eligible.
