Sir many website shows that , BVP CET is of only mathematics and physics not chemistry , and sir my 2nd doubt is how we prepare in 1 month , sir where we download PYQ for BVP CET , sir any mock test

Kishan Bhakat 15th May, 2025

Hello,

You're correct that the BVP CET (Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test) for engineering programs primarily includes Physics and Mathematics . Chemistry is not part of the exam syllabus.

Given that your Chemistry marks are lower, this exam format could be advantageous for you. Focusing on Physics and Mathematics, where you may have stronger proficiency, can enhance your performance in the BVP CET.

Best of luck with your preparations!

I couldnt pass mathematics in class 12 board exams but got much more than 70% marks in total . My maths became my 4th subject. Can I still pursue btech in chemical and pharmaceutical technology in Institute of Agricultural Science ,University of Calcutta ?

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a B.Tech in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology is to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Since you mentioned that Mathematics was your fourth subject and you did not pass it,  tis is might be challenging for  eligibility, as Mathematics is usually a mandatory subject for this course.

eligibility criteria can vary, and it's essential to consult the official admission guidelines provided by the university. You can visit the official website of the University of Calcutta or contact their admissions office directly to get the most accurate  information.

Additionally, some universities offer lateral entry options or diploma-based admissions, which might have different eligibility requirements. i would suggest you,  reach out to the university's admissions office.
