Mathematics
Hello,
Yes, you can get admission to an MSc Mathematics program by first completing a bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field and then qualifying for an entrance exam like IIT JAM or CUET-PG, or applying based on merit. You should check the specific eligibility and admission criteria of the universities you are interested in, as requirements vary.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello
No, maths isn't compulsory for B.Com. Most colleges accept students without it. B.Com focuses on commerce and accounts, which need basic math, not advanced amounts.
You’ll work with numbers, but nothing too tough, just totals, percentages, and other simple stuff. So, even without math in school, don’t fear, a B.Com degree is still well within your sphere
Sorry, but IITs do not consider marks from different boards combined. You must clear all mandatory Class 12 subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) from a single recognized board. Taking Physics through NIOS after failing your State Board exam will make your original State Board result invalid for JEE Advanced eligibility.

Yes, you can study both Mathematics and Economics at the same time at Miranda House, University of Delhi .
B.A. Programme (Economics + Mathematics) is available under the B.A. Programme. B.A. (Hons.) Economics is a separate honours course, and Mathematics in Class 12 is required for admission.
To be eligible, you must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. CUET UG score is required for admission, and candidates must register on the DU CSAS portal after the CUET-UG results.
B.A. Programme (Economics + Mathematics) has limited seats, usually around 10. Previous year’s cut-off for this combination was around 95.5%.
You can pursue this combination at Miranda House, but if you want deeper mathematics along with economics, you may also check other DU colleges offering combined Economics + Mathematics courses.
Hope it helps !

No, Mathematics is not compulsory for JET (Joint Entrance Test for Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Fisheries, Forestry and other allied sciences) if you are from the PCB group . JET allows candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Agriculture in 10+2. Since you are studying in 11th with the Science PCB group , you are fully eligible to appear. Only if you want to take admission in courses like B.Tech Dairy Technology or Food Technology , then Mathematics becomes necessary. For other programs such as B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries etc. , PCB is enough.
In short: You can appear for JET with PCB, but if you aim for engineering-oriented agri programs , then Mathematics is compulsory.
