Maths Exam
Hello Debayan
You are eligible for applying for NIT's if your total percentage are above 75% and as you have passed maths you there should be no problem for you but you should ask your school for the corrected passing certificate which says you have passed maths or else it can be a problem for you if they say your compartment marksheet will work then use that in time of verification and you shoudn't have any problem then
Hope this helps you
Hi Dear,
No, you'll not be eligible for Economics hons at University of Delhi, if you study maths separately from NIOS. To be eligible for Economic hons course at DU a student must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying exam with atleast 45% marks in aggregate.
You can check the link provided below for eligibility criteria for different courses at university of delhi:

Good Luck
Hello Vishal!
Yes why not? After passing the Maths subject from NIOS, the grades or marks of the maths subject will add on to your PCB senior secondary passing certificate and marksheet. And then you will meet the requirements of pursuing an engineering course as you passed with PCM subjects in 12th.
NIOS results are accepeted and recognized throughout the country. So, there is no need to worry about your admission in your preferred colleges.
Hope you are clear!
Hope you are doing good in this pandemic situation.
Banaras Hindu University is a top tier University and also the BSc mathematics course is highly famous among students and their for the cutoff is extremely high each year.
Indore last two three years the cutoff for BSC mathematics for for the female group was around 152.
for females and OBC category students the cutoff in the last few years was around 130, same as that you got.
with your category OBC and marks. I think you have very strong chances of getting your preferred course.

hi,
see the general eligibility criteria is candidates wish to pursue b.sc in computer science must have studied mathematics as a subject in 12th course from a recognized education board. now many students studied additional subjects from NIOS, which certificate a acceptable in all Institute in India. so it depends on the recognized institute from where you have completed the bridge course. I suggest you to contact with the admission authority before applying any course and go through the Information brochure before applying.
Hey aspirant,
Congratulations for scoring so well in BHU UET!
BHU is one of the well renowned Colleges that set up its cut offs really high. But your category score and rank which you have acquired are enough to get you an admission in BHU for Maths hons.
Last year's OBC cut off rank for maths hons. was 707 and cut off score was 165.
Although cut offs may vary slightly year to year but your chances of admission are quite high.
Hope this helps,
All the best!
Hello Jasan!
Mathematics is a basic requirement for Mechanical engineering, be it in India or abroad. So, it will be a basic requirement for you during your application to various universities abroad.
I will suggest taking the Board Examination for mathematics only through NIOS. This way you'll be able to add mathematics to your mark sheet. You do not need to PCM all again, appear only maths as an additional subject. This is because you already have a PCB mark sheet, and after appearing NIOS boards for maths, the marks will add to your mark sheet.
For studying in universities abroad, you have to qualify for SAT/ACT and language proficiency exams like IELTS/TOEFL. Go through the articles below to get more information about these exams in detail:-
