The major difference between BSc Maths and B.Tech Civil engineering is that in maths, you do not have to study physics and chemistry as a mandatory subject, whereas in engineering, you have to study maths as a compulsory subject.

If you want to study more and dream a beautiful future you must go through BSc with a good Hons. like PHY/CHEM/MATH. It may take some more time. If you have a good academic career and a good knowledge you have a better future.

The cutoff for DU colleges was ranging somewhere between 92-89 percent for general category in the first round. So if you say that you have received 90.5 percent in general category, you may be eligible for the BSc Maths course in any DU
