Considering General Category, the cut off for BA Economics in Miranda House is 94.5

Minimum eligibility is 45% in your 12th boards. Aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects would be considered as best four subjects (BFS). Maths is not compulsory.

I would suggest knowing maths would be helpful for BA Economics in st. Xaviers. If you have not studied 12th Maths I would suggest to learn basic maths concepts like derivatives, integration, matrix because those concepts really helps when you study Econometric but college offers Economic to non maths students

Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Economics is a full-time three-year (6 semesters) undergraduate degree course offered by St. Xaviers College. Yes, you need to have mathematics in your 10+2 to get into economics hons course at St. Xaviers.

Can a non-mathematics student apply for ba economics hons in Jamia Millia Islamia University as in eligibility criteria of their prospectus, they stated that +50% marks in economics but they didnt mention maths?

Yes, you can apply for B.A Economics Hons in Jamia Millia Islamia University. The eligibility criteria for B.A Economics Hons is minimum 50% marks in 10+2. Admission  is done on the basis of Entrance Exam score conducted by the University.

sir I have given my 4 subject well in exam.... but unable to appear well in bio and maths and I think I will not be able to pass in both subject.. will I get grace mark in one subject or fail... this gives me depression.....
