well no you cant get into SRCC if you dont have maths in your 12th standard  and SRCC offers 2 courses B.com (//B.com) and B.A(ECONOMICS).so it is necessary that the applicants have studied maths intheir 12th standard.

see b.sc mathematics honors syllabus is totally based on mathematics, you should  choose mathematics only if you are interest to go in real depth of mathematics, along with calculus, integration, algebraic equations chapter there is real analysis, statistics, quantum mechanics as an additional or optional paper.

see iits nits msc program is research based and after clearing the 2 years duration course students go for post doctoral research or phd program, now if you are lucky you may get some research fellowship in iits or nits, but mostly for msc course there is less placement
