I m 29. I m very good in maths but not in pcb. I am applying for nios 12th. Which stream should I join & then which bachelors degree should I pursue? Since I m 29, is there any scope for me in media jobs. If not what r the other options, bcoz I like maths & english.

see age is not  a bar if you are really interested to gain knowledge, however I would not recommend you to take science if you have no interest in pcb or weak in pcb. you may skip biology, you may take computer science or statistics or geography in place

The subject combinations you get or are offered are totally dependent on the College or University you are in. You will be having certain core subjects and then side subjects as per your choice. It may be Physics, Chemistry, economics, computers or any language etc., accordingly.

In B.Sc. Maths(Hons.) not the single subject is taught there you will learn three subjects in detail that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The subject you choose completely depends on your interest and choice of subjects. Look, what you find interesting to study or would want to study to gain some knowledge of that subject. You can go for economics, or entrepreneurship, which helps you with your main subject in future.

hi,

to become eligible for neet exam you must have biology or biotechnology in 10+2 course, however you may enroll in nios and take biology to become eligible for neet. if you meet the eligibility criteria like qualifying marks for general category-50% aggregate in pcb, for sc/st/obc it is 40%.
