can i do b.tech in bio technology without maths in ipu? as i am a pcb student.

Bio technology is graduation degree with biology as the mandatory subject. But maths will be there while you will be having your classes in your college. Since you are a PCB student so you can take bio technology . But remember maths will be there in your course.

If my BOARD marks in PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY are good but my MATHS marks is not up to the point. But my AGGREGATE percentage is above 75% will it somehow affect in my seat in IIST after i have qualified jee advanced. Please help me with this query.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the eligibility criteria of IIST, the minimum aggregate for all the 5 subjects in 12th standard is to be 75%. For SC/ST/PwD the minimum aggregate should be 65%.

The aggregate percentage is what taken into account, not the individual subject.

The basic eligibility for masters in statistics through IIT JAM is that candidate must have studied mathematics or statistics for at least two years ( four semesters ) . And you have studied maths for 3 semesters only. So you are not eligible for it.

No, you can apply because bitsat only accepts candidates who have complete their 12 th standard with 60 % marks. Just wait for your result and apply next year if you want admission only in bits or you can apply to other colleges if you wish but not bitsat.
