Yes, there is entrance exam for taking bsc Hons. Which is through PU CET.

Availability of registration form will be from first week for April, 2020.


Exam will be conducted on 13th of June ,2020.

Hello Hrishikesh,

The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is that candidate shold have done BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT or other equivalent course of minimum three years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject  as one of the subject from a recognized University.

For NIMCET , the eligibility criteria are

  • Minimum 60% marks in BCA, B.SC(Hons), or in B.E , B.Tech
  • Candidates have to study maths or statistics as one of the subject in the UG course.

The eligibility criteria states that you should have completed your Bachelor's degree with either Mathematics or Statistics as one of your subjects. Now it is understood that you cannot have a subject for the entire duration of the course and so even if do not have Mathematics as your subject
