Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal
Hello There ,
Yes , it is possible , and it is not restricted to any college . Any Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering student can get the internship opportunity if they have the required knowledge , good approach . In chemical engineering and mechanical engineering generally for 4 semesters there are Cse related course , which will help build cse concepts , also in third year data science courses Provide good knowledge . Apart from that you need to research and see what else you need to learn to be a suitable candidate.
Such companies have certain criteria , so you need to check whether you clear those or not .
Hope it helps
Hello student,
Usually cse , ece and other core branches get good placements when compared to other branches irrespective of the college.CBIT and vasavi are top colleges in telangana state but a lot of students want to study in NITs since they are a brand itself.Mechanical and chemical branches are not easy.If you get a placement then mostly you will have to work in a remote area. But the placements for both vasavi and cbit will be very good. The b-category notification for these colleges have already been released and here are the details -
For cbit the number of seats left in each branch are -
1 Civil Engineering 26
2 Mechanical Engineering 26
3 Electronics and Communication Engineering 40
4 Computer Science and Engineering 40
5 Electrical and Electronics Engineering 26
6 Information Technology 40
7 Chemical Engineering 13
8 Bio-Technology 13
9 Artificial Intelligence and Data Science 13
10 Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) 13
11 Computer Science and Engineering (IOT and Cyber Security including Block Chain Technology) 13
for vasavi -
I have provided all the information that would help you. Please take a wise decision
Hello Venusaivenu12012002,
Well, Sorry to say but you can't get float option after selecting slide option, (As written in Josaa Business rule 2020 : a candidate can change from float to slide/freeze and slide to freeze by online reporting. Page 37) but I will suggest, wait till last round and then apply for CSAB round and arrange in your preferred manner, there are chances for you getting seat there, but no chance in josaa itself...
Last Year Csab round cutoff for MANIT bhopal, chemical engineering was 27193 for CSAB first round for Other State Quota Candidates...
Hope This Helps, feel free to ask any further query...
It depends on your interests . With Chemical Engineering you would have better scope for research and jobs . You can go for psu's with chemical engineering , and if you want higher studies like ms in abroad , chemical engineering has great scope in us and europe , so if you would be preparing for gre or gate , chemical engineering would provide better study .
But it all comes to your interests , which branch you want to study for your whole btech , as branch change is not easy in iit's .
Hope it Helps and All the Best .

Hello
Its not about toughness ,it basically depends upon your interest because if you are interested in something then you do it well as compare to the non interested one. If you are interested in sensor, automation part then go for instrumentation engineering but if your are interested in metallurgy part then go for metallurgy engineering.
Talking about college then both the college have a good placement and ranking.
Good Luck.
Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
