In JEE Mains paper 2, a rank below 500 can ensure you a seat in SPA or Manipal, as these are the first prefered colleges. For a rank below 500, you should aim for a score of 320 and above, as the competition is tough every year.

Here is the detailed fee structure of MANIT, Bhopal-

1. Institute Fee-

• Caution Money- Rs.5,000
• One-Time Fees- Rs.4,719
• Tuition Fee (per semester)- Rs.62,500 
• Other Fees (per semester)- Rs. 6,776

2. Hostel Fee- Rs. 40,500

If your family income is less than 1 lakh per annum, then you will get 100% remission of tuition fee and if your family income is between 1 and 5 lakh per annum, you will get 2/3rd remission of the tuition fee.

You can hire a cab from Railway station, you can afford. If your financial condition is not well then you can also take a bus(Mini bus/ red bus) from Railway station, they drops you at Mata mandir stop nearest to MANIT campus. From there no need to book and auto or anything , simply come here by foots...Only 500m more to go.

MNIT Bhopal has better placement. 

Placements: The placements in the college are quite good.the placements were around 80%, and before that, I think it was 90%. The highest package offered was 18 LPA, and the lowest was around 4-5 LPA. The companies like electrical were GE, BORL, BPCL, L&T, and many more visited the campus. Decent and acceptable posts were given to the students. Around 20% of the students got internships. The average stipend for the internship was Rs.30,000 per month. If you are a CSE student, then placements are sure for you. It depends on you regarding how much you can achieve because most of the students of my batch got chance in Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and many more. If you are a student of another branch, you should plan in a proper way to get placements.

If you have interest in ELECTRICAL engineering then only you opt for it otherwise go for CSE. The placement is way better than MANIT in CSE at IIIT LUCKNOW. Current world demands for computer science students and they offer great salary.

So go and join CSE.

If you didn't get any seat in CSAB special round then if you want you can drop for one year and start preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced.If you don't want to take drop for one year.You can take direct admission in good private colleges base on your 12 percentage.
