In Nit Rourkela,you will have to compete with dual degree students for placements and rourkela does not allow internship in vlsi.Nit bhopal mtech placements are not good.

If you are not getting trichy,warangal,suratkal,calicut then you may go with jaipur vlsi.It will be better in comparision to these in terms of placements and internships.

Based on your rank it is not possible to get nit bhopal but you may try cse at iiit bhopal whose mentor is manit and classes are held at manit.

This rank will not get you a seat in manit bhopal architecture 

but you can try planning at special round as the last year general closing rank for home state was

8114.Meanwhile prepare well for NATA as it may fetch you a seat in a good architecture or planning college and nits such as trichy and calicut accept nata score.

The special depends on how many seats are vacant in your category as well as your state quota.

According to last year cutoff mechanical branch closed at 20929 for general rank so it likely that you can get a seat till the spot round.

 Based on last year studies it is very difficult to get either of the two college at this rank but you should definitely fill all your choices as the spot round is unpredicatable in nits .

You would have definitely  heard about NATA(National aptitude test for architecture). It is to architect what JEE is to engineers. It give access to all the architectural colleges in India.So prepare hard for NATA and with NATA score you can get into top architectural colleges even nits and spa .

yes you can. If you have cleared the GATE with required marks then definately you will bw able to get the fellowship not in this collage only but in other colleges also. If the marks are above the qualifying scores, you can get the fellowship. And you go to the institute and get  information about this. You might be able to grab the opportunity.

If you are getting NITs then you should probably choose in between the NITs 

VIT is no where in comparison to the NITs as it is a private college.

If you are getting NIT Bhopal I would suggest you should take that option.
