First of all congratulations to getting decent rank so you are able to join these college.
Now comparing these two college i will say CSE in NIT bhopal is far better than IT in IIT allahabad in terms of placement . But if you are keen interested in coding then you will find better coding environment in IIT Allahabad. Both college are equally good and hold its own importance in their own field.
You can refer this link to get better insight and ranking of college :

NIT bhopal placement stats of last year was too good with approx 100% with average package of 10-15lpa . Many big companies like Amazon, IBM,
Accolite,Airtel,Axtria,Barclays India etc came last year in campus.
For further queries feel free to comment.
NIT Allahabad IT hands down
Reasons
1. MNNIT CSE and MNNIT IT curriculum is almost same. So ou get to compete with around 250 students so naturaly your coding performance or other academic related performances will improve.
2. Our Alma mater. Yes this is the best thing at NIT A. They are so loyal and helpful for their juniors. Though Alumini at every NIT's try their best to support but Alumini base at MNNIT A is one of the best I've seen. This fact/notion can also be proven by looking at the placement records.
3. Labs/infra of CSE department at MNNIT A is of top notch and IIT standards. So definitely in terms of resources you wouldn't be feeling behind.
4. Moreover coding events like Hack 36, codathon, insomania, Code marathon etc events at NITA will keep you on tose. (Though I've heard at NIT Bhopal, there are some of their codig events too)
So in all, I would recommend to prefer NIT A (though end decision is totaly your's)
See soon at MNNIT

Vivek,
Based upon your rank i think your category rank will be around 5000.
Based upon previous year cut off rank. It was 7439 for mechanical engineering in MANIT BHOPAL in 7 th round. You will easily get mechanical engineering in nit bhopal in 5 or 6 th round.
If in case you miss it, you will definitely get it in spot round. And there are chances that you can electrical engineering also.
Hope it helps
