Ive scored 297/720 in neet 2025. My AIR rank is around 4.5 lakh. Im st category with Hyderabad Karnataka quota. So can I get government mbbs seat this year?

Prachi Kumari 24th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a score of 297/720 in NEET 2025 and an All India Rank of around 4.5 lakh, and considering you belong to the ST category with Hyderabad Karnataka quota, you do have a slight chance of getting a government MBBS seat under the Karnataka state quota.

Chances in the All India Quota are very low at this rank. But under the state quota, especially with the ST and Hyderabad Karnataka reservation, you may get a seat in some of the government medical colleges in districts like Koppal, Bidar, or similar. Still, the chances are low and depend on how the cut-offs go this year.

It is advised to take part in the Karnataka state counselling and fill all possible options. Keep private colleges as a backup if you are open to that.

Hope it helps !

with549955 rank which private colloege is offered for mbbs

Anushree Thakare 18th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a NEET rank of 549955 , you might find it challenging to secure a seat in a top-tier private medical college, but there are still options available. Many private medical colleges, especially those with lower rankings or in less competitive regions, may offer seats to students with scores around this range.

Thank you!!

For 140 marks can I get mbbs seat? For obc category

gopi 16th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

It is highly improbable to get an MBBS seat with 140 marks in NEET, even for OBC candidates, as Government medical colleges usually require higher as mentioned above 450–500 for OBC in most of the states. With 140 students will usually be limited to private colleges or management quota seats and even that will be sometime doubtful. Cutoff marks are different in every state as well as every year so please visit your state's counseling website for further information. Check here for information: NEET College Predictor 2025

Can I get MBBS govt or semi govt college in 331 marks in NEET UG 2025 if I belongs to Punjab from SC category????

gopi 16th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

You are likely to get a government or semi-government MBBS seat in Punjab through the state quota with 331 marks in NEET UG 2025 and being a SC category candidate from Punjab. The SC category cut-offs in the past for government medical colleges in Punjab based on college and seat availability have ranged between 310–370 marks. However, getting admitted depends on:

  • The difficulty level of the NEET 2025 exam
  • The overall performance of all SC candidates
  • The seat matrix and reservation policies for the particular year

To attempt to maximize your chances you should:

  • Apply through Punjab state counselling (BFUHS) under the 85% state quota
  • Be on the lookout for the semi-government/private colleges offering fee waivers/concessions for the SC category
  • Consider having back up options in BDS or AYUSH courses.

Hi Can anyone guide when does the MBBS counselling starts for IPU (I have already filled the form) plus also when does the forms for Delhi University MBBS roll out

shivani 20th Jun, 2025
  • IPU MBBS application form was open from February 1-20, 2025 .

  • The counselling process (for document verification, choice filling, seat allotment) begins after NEET-UG results are announced . This is managed through offline rounds by GGSIPU , alongside the 15% All India Quota (via MCC)

  • Typically:

    • NEET results arrive in late June.

    • IPU counselling starts soon after -expect June-July 2025 , but exact schedule is yet to be released.

    • Monitor the 'Schedule/Notices' section on IPU’s admission portal for official dates

  • DU MBBS/BDS admissions are handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)- not DU directly.

  • The application form opens through MCC after NEET results, details are released on the MCC website in mid-late June

1) can i get admission in adesh institute ,bathinda in mbbs under management quata , as i belong to rajasthan 2) does the condition of closed state applied on management seats too ???

shivani 20th Jun, 2025

Adesh IMS (Bathinda) is a private college with 150 MBBS seats :

  • 75 Government quota,

  • approx. 53 Management quota,

  • approx. 22 NRI quota

Management quota seats are filled through BFUHS counseling (Bachelor Farid University) and require NEET + merit + fee payment

Rajasthan students can apply for these seats if NEET and counseling criteria are met , since Management quota is open to any domicile . In Punjab, seats not reserved under government-state quota may still be filled by outside state candidates. Management quota seats are not under state quota rules . They are open to all states via BFUHS counseling. Yes , you can compete for Management quota at Adesh IMS, Bathinda. Management quota is open to out-of-state students , no closed-state restriction .
