can i do Fellowship in Andrology after my MS in gen surgery??(Without doing MCh in urology)

Sweta jha 19th Dec, 2021

Hi there,

For doing fellowship in Andrology Candiate must have passed MBBS degree from an institute recognized by Medical council of India. Candidates must have completed MS/MD degree from an recognized institute. If candiates were enrolled in MS in General surgery,  then they must obtain M.ch degree in urology after that they can go for specialization program in Andrology.

So you can not do fellowship in Andrology without completing M.ch in urology. It will be better if you complete M.ch in urology and then go for fellowship in Andrology.

Hope this helps you

Good luck!

Souhrid Sarkar 2nd Apr, 2021
Hello Shireesha,

Sorry to hear that but as you have generated a RUC,so you cannot generate a new RUC for that same application .Instead, you can register freshly (during basic registration ) or contact their helpdesk at aiims.pgexams@gmail.com and see if they can help you with this. Note that : No change can be made during the final registration.

Try reaching to them as early as possible.Don't panic you will surely find a way out.
