priyaankasarkar Student Expert 14th Jun, 2020

Sri Ramchandra Institute is a Private Medical College and Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling. All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.

Whats the difference btwn accredited dnb & mci recognized dnb hspt.? How to choose? & whats better?

Zayed khan 16th May, 2020

dear

DNB admissions are centralised and there is no scope for any manipulation. Hence DNB is not equivalent to MD/ MS but is much superior," he said. Dr Swarnakar pointed out that the DNB examination had much more recognition abroad as compared to other PG degrees in medicine from India

A useless program awarding MS after 3 years isn't of much use, by the same token if a good hospital is offering a good DNB surgery program then it is definitely preferable. So choose wisely based on individual scenario. DNB are postgraduate or post-doctoral diplomas offered by the National Board of Examinations set up under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Government of India. ... All DNB qualifications are recognised all over the country by the Medical Council of India. At present, there are 479 medical colleges in the country, out of which 227 in government and 252 are in private sector with annual admission capacity of 67,352 MBBS and 31,415 postgraduate students per year. There are 6,848 DNB seats which are equivalent to MD/MS

Candidates selected will receive a stipend of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 55,000 and Rs. 60,000 per month during their first, second and third year course, respectively.

good luck...

Is deemed medical colleges are mci recognized

S. Saha Student Expert 14th May, 2020
Before admission to any medical college, one must check if the college is MCI Recognized or not. Yes, deemed universities are also recognized by Medical Council of India, for example, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences etc. As far as the deemed university has approved by MCI, the medical degree is valid.
