snigdha vig 28th Apr, 2021

Hi,

MCI registration is for the professionals who have completed their MBBS. Since, you are in sixth semester, you are not eligible for the registration right now. You can register for the same when you will complete your MBBS and will get your degree. You will able to upload your marks for online semester then only. If you have any more questions, you can ask in the comment section.

I hope this helped you. All the Best!

Is this medical college MCI approved?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Jun, 2021

Hi

You have tagged Index Medical College Indore, so I am guessing you are asking about it.

Yes, Index Medical College Indore is recognised by MCI. You can check the same at its official website for which  the link is provided below
http://www.indexgroup.co.in/infra_and_facilities.asp

Index Medical College Indore is a private medical college in the state of MP.

You can also have details about it at our page at
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/index-medical-college-hospital-and-research-centre-indore

To help you further,
If I tell you about marks required in neet for an mbbs seat in Index Medical College Indore then
It is very difficult to predict marks required to get a seat in Index Medical College Indore  but when we go through previous year trends then,

In neet 2019 , 479 marks for general category was the lowest/ cut off marks that got a government quota mbbs seat in  Index Medical College Indore under MP state quota

You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-mp

But yes,
cut  off   marks / rank   for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the neet examination, kind of marks obtained by them in neet , toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc.

So ,  you should target at least around 30- 50 more in your Neet 2021 examination in comparison of Neet 2019, So you should target at least around 500- 525 marks  to be on the safer side in your neet 2021 examination if you are from general category.

Thank you

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NEET UG 2021 even if there is one year gap between class 11th and class 12th provided you must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English (practical+theory) taken together from a recognized board.  You must have passed with minimum 50% marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry, if you belong to SC/ST/PWD it is minimum 40% marks and for PWD it is minimum 45% marks. if my university does not have MCI approval when I took admission but it gets after my third year then am I eligible for giving MCI screening test

anirudha vats 19th Mar, 2021

Hi,

Well MCI recognition is very important for your medical degree to be recognised and if your college is not approved of MCI then your degree won't be valid. But like you said that in third year the approval can come from MCI. Well in that case you can give the mci screening test and your degree wi be valid. The recognition has to be there before you graduate. So make sure to get all the information once checked from your office.
