What is difference between M.S and M.D

These both are postgraduate degrees, can be done only after successfully completing mbbs degree course.
MD is doctor of medicine ,it includes both clinical and non clinical branches.. clinical branches are such as General medicine, radiology, paediatrics,TB and chest, dermatology etc
While non clinical branches includes biochemistry,pathology, physiology, psm, etc

You have chances of getting MD in non clinical subjects like physiology. Further you may get MD biochemistry as well. If you can afford a private seat then you must go for it

Under this rank its quite hard to get mds seat in govt. Dental colleges of maharashtra,.
However you may get a mds seat in private dental college of maharashtra easily..

To get admission in MDS she has to appear in NEET MDS Entrance exam.
Which is conducted by NBE every year.
On the basis of her Rank she will get admission.
For which ask her to join coaching classes and test series for MDS ENTRANCE.

How much government salary is given to BAMS/MD???(My sources says now govt. Has made it 72000 Rs. i.e. equivalent to MBBS.. Is it true)???

Even I have heard about his . However, there haven't been any solid proof or evidence that indeed there has been a change in the salary system. Currently the starting pay is 20-30K and the average salary is about 1lac per month.

HI sowmya,

I suppose you are planning to write NEET PG.. As NEET UG is for MBBS, it is a 5 and a half yr long course. After completing it you can wite NEET PG and then pursue MD.
